Software Engineer.

Work with a team of very intelligent individuals in a fast paced environment.
 

Work on WatchESPN app on Android platform for Mobile, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku. Implement new functionalities and bug fixes. Using Java programming language with Android Studio IDE.

Work on Samsung Gear watch, implementing new features, new functionalities and bug fixes. Using JavaScript language under Tizen environment. Using WebStorm IDE.

Scrum methodology with two week sprint plans and daily stand up meetings.

 

 

 

2009 to 2015- BioMed Devices. Guilford, Connecticut, USA

Software Engineer.

Worked with a team of Embedded engineers ranging from mechanical, software to electrical engineers.

 

I worked on a Portable ventilator with built in compressor, hot swappable battery, user interface and various sensors.

 

I designed the user interface. I coded the display drivers and communication protocol using UART. I designed and coded the waveforms, loops, numerical displays of values.

 

I also designed windows, popups and wizards for the user to setup the ventilator. The UI was written with Amulet technologies GEM studio IDE with a proprietary JavaScript language.I also coded other microprocessors, these include Atmel AVR processors. I worked on codes that delivered numerous ventilation functionalities by reading and controlling sensors in closed loops.

 

Some of these functionalities are: Ventilation modes, Alarm systems, communication to external devices.

 

All codes were documented and written to specification.

 

All documentations were highly regulated such as: IEC 62304, IEC 62366 and BS EN 60601.

I also worked on other core functionalities such as: UART and USART communication, Interrupt service routines, Data package sending and receiving, CRC implementation and minor JTAG debugging.

Software Engineer.

Microsoft Visual Studio. C# and WPF. Worked on a team to design and develop an application used by field mechanics to diagnose the UH-60 Blackhawk.

 

 

 

 

2008 - Westbrook Technologies, Branford, Connecticut, USA

Junior Software support

Microsoft Visual Studio. ASP.NET and Visual Basic. Westbrook owns the Fortis software which is an electronic document manager.


Companies use Fortis to organize all their paper work from, payrolls, faxes, account receivables and account payables. I was responsible for debugged software services and providing customer service for clients. 

 

 

 

 

Summer 2006 - Hypack Inc., Middletown, Connecticut, USA

Intern

Delphi (pascal) and 3D Max for building various Hydrographic surveying utilities. I learned how to write software specification, how to code as a professional team and fundamentals of software design patterns. Most importantly, I learned about a typical work day for a Software engineer.
